Become a Certified Global Business Professional

The Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) credential confirms knowledge in international trade and assures that you are able to practice global business on a professional level in today’s competitive environment. Our Online CGBP Program is designed to help individuals working in the field of international business successfully prepare for, and pass the CGBP Exam or re-certify their existing CGBP credential. Business owners and their managers can also benefit from taking the CGBP Program by learning ways to help their firms become more competitive and profitable.

Registration fee is $499 for the entire 5-module Full CGBP Program. Individual modules can be purchased separately. Qualified small businesses may be eligible for STEP grant registration fee reimbursement of $225 through EDPNC.

  • The SBTDC is a business and technology extension program of the UNC System and is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
  • The SBTDC is a NASBITE Accredited CGBP Training Program—the designation is an endorsement that recognizes CGBP Training programs that have exceptional trainers, curriculum that is fully aligned with the four domains of knowledge in the NASBITE CGBP Practice Delineation, and that have a track record of successfully preparing candidates to sit for the CGBP exam.
